Water conservation products

Water is as close as kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms in most homes. Even if you cannot do without water, there are some ways you can use less and save money. On survey it has been discovered that a leak of only one drop per second wastes about nine thousand liters of water per year, which is equivalent to sixteen baths every month. Most of the leaks are easy to find and can be fixed at very little price.

Save water and reduce your energy bills
Low-flow showerhead can cut usage of water in the shower by more than thirty percent. One can use water more cleverly by fitting leaky taps and by installing tap aerators that provide you the same pressure with less water flow. These products can reduce the energy that you use for a load of laundry by about ninety percent by washing and rinsing your clothes in cold water. Anything you do to save hot water will hack your energy bills. You can even reduce cold-water use by installing a modern, low-flow toilet. It generally uses less water to flush. Even if your water is not metered better use a water-efficient toilet that will make it easier for your town to supply fresh water and grip wastewater.
Some more products for saving water
Rinsing dishes below the tap also wastes a huge amount of water. For saving water rinse your dishes in a large bowl of water. Automatic dishwasher is also a water saving equipment that uses less quantity of water and also save manpower. The sprinklers that leave water down in a flat pattern are always better than oscillating sprinklers that lose as much as fifty percent of what they disperse through evaporation. Proper auto timer sprinklers should be used in the lawns to save water. There are different varieties of showerheads, taps, valves and flushes to save water. Many companies are in their work of manufacturing water conservation products. There are toiler leak detector, custom flow control valves, which are biodegradable and are safe for all sewers and septic systems.
