The delight that people take in their home spa, whether it .....
Because women so much enjoyed the luxury of pampered treatment at one of the elite spas, spa products used at the luxury spas were found to be desirable as home treatment products as well. With the feel and smell of these spa products in the home, it was almost like extending your stay at the spa indefinitely.

Many of the luxury spas took advantage of this concept and packaged their spa products under their own label. The names may be exotic, but the majority of the products fall into some fairly general categories.

These spa products may be prettied up with a fancy name, depending on the major ingredient or aroma. Lavender flowers from northern California form the ingredient of choice for many attending spas in that area. A Lavender Sugar Scrub actually combines lavender blossoms, plain sugar, and oil to use the products as an all over body wash and exfoliate

A whole line of spa products comes from the famous Dead Sea mineral rich waters. It is said that Queen Cleopatra used the Dead Sea waters as her own special health spa and now you can use the spa products made with Dead Sea waters in your own beauty regimen.

A shampoo selling for the enormous price of .00 per bottle includes ingredients that almost no one is going to find laying loose on the counter. Yet, this spa shampoo leaves hair smooth and doesn't strip it of natural oils. The shampoo is called Phillip B White Truffle Moisturizing Shampoo.

Other popular spa products include candles. L'Occitane produces a whole line of candles just right for adding relaxing aromas into your home spa.

A hot stone massage is a popular spa routine. You can recapture the same feel with a gift package of volcanic stones, polished smooth, along with a candle, instructional DVD in order to teach you the best methods for recreating this highly desirable experience.

Many spa products now use the terms natural or organic in their titles or advertising. Natural products are truly better for your body in most instances, but don't assume something is better because it's natural or organic. Unfortunately, adding the term 'organic' tends to increase the price significantly, not always with better results.
