Deadly mold

A few things that all house-proud homeowners would be better off knowing about deadly mold and how it affects the hygiene and health factor in their homes, are covered in this piece. Mold can be deadly, if not checked in time and especially if it contains certain toxic properties. It is Black Mold, sometimes referred to as toxic mold that is deadly in nature. It is found in the walls of homes, apartments, and schools where a leak has let water into the walls and can result in serious health problems for people using that area regularly. For those with asthma, it can be fatal as the deadly microscopic mold spores can enter the lungs and kill people and asthmatic individuals need to stay away from exposure to toxic black mold

Stachybotrys Mold is the deadly mold

Stachybotrys causes bleeding in the lungs and can prove to be fatal for infants and pregnant women. The Stachybotrys mold spores are inhaled into the lungs, where they weaken the blood vessels, causing the lungs to bleed. Coughing up blood and frequent nosebleeds are symptoms of stachybotrys poisoning. As mentioned earlier, this mold is found in wet areas-places affected by leaky pipes, within or on walls exposed to excessive moisture and is wet, black and slimy; this deadly mold smears when touched.

Warning Signs of a Deadly Mold problem

If members of your household, or occupants of your building are suddenly becoming ill with respiratory-related sicknesses or conditions with unusually high frequency or, if there are increased asthma and allergy attacks, you can gear yourself up for a strong possibility of a deadly mold problem. Chronic leaks or wet areas, accompanied by a mildew-like smell, often result in a deadly mold problem
This toxic mold produces hazardous byproducts, called mycotoxins, which are more likely to trigger health problems in even healthy individuals as these toxins are believed to be linked to memory loss and to severe lung problems in infants and the elderly. Floating particles of mold are invisible to the naked eye, so it's impossible to see where they might have landed until they begin to grow. Loose mold particles that collect on items within a house can be inhaled, growing into a constant irritation for the inhabitants. Stachybotrys chartarum, a slimy, greenish-black mold, grows on moisture-laden materials that contain cellulose, such as wood, paper, drywall and other similar products but does not grow on tile or cement. Deadly mold not only damages health, but also smells bad and degrades air quality for those around the living area.
