I know the term "iron curtain" reminded you of Winston Churchill and the division of Europe till the end of cold war, lets say roughly from 1945 to 1990. However, here we will not go into politics or history, as we are looking into the iron grills - windows and doors and their manufactures. Have you come across the company by the name "Iron Curtains"? If not let me tell you something about it. It is the brainchild of three people, Liz Loeliger, an interior designer, Mike Lewis, a structural engineer and Hans Hachler, mechanical draftsman. They established the "Iron Curtains " in the year 1991 and even today they are popular in the filed of wrought iron security doors and window grills. The success of the company is based on the unique combination of the talents and skills of the three people who shoulder it. The mission of the company is to give quality security product at an affordable price. The strong and secure products of Iron Curtains are manufactured with extreme care. The products are zinc plated and powder coated and are available in large range of colours. They supply the goods at the trade prices and will work out the price for any special requirements.

Iron Curtains products

The three main products of Iron Curtains are

1. Topline Doors
These are high security doors that weighs around 35 kg are the strongest and it is the heaviest available product with them. These have around eleven standard designs, which is suited for all house styles from ranging from small cottages to big houses. They also take special designs from the customers. Some of the features of the Topline doors are they come in elegant designs in heritage and contemporary colours. The door handles are either solid brass or chrome handles. They are custom made and are zinc plated and powder coated. They have heavy-duty insect screen and the external frame is very strong and made of steel.

2. Heritage doors
These security doors are medium doors weighting around 22kg. They are available with a single or 3-point lock. Steel doorframe welds extra strength. They are also available in elegant designs and in contemporary colours. They are corrosion protected as it powder coated and have three hinges and fly wire screen


3. Window grills
These power coated and zinc plated not only dress up your windows but also provide security. Like the doors they are also available in elegant designs and contemporary and heritage colours. They are custom made and have heavy-duty fixings and are surface mounted.
