Types of curtain tracks

PVC is inexpensive, flexible and appropriate for light and medium weight curtains. A corded option is not accessible with this type of track. Aluminums is more expensive but stronger and more comfortable, as well as being bendable. It is also appropriate for light and medium weight fabric and gives you smoother drawing curtains. Corded and Uncorded options are accessible with this type of track. Steel is appropriate for heavy weight curtains. This kind of track is not bendable and is always corded. Heavy duty aluminums can be prepared to exact lengths and can be ordered ready bent. A bendable valance track is accessible for use with our PVC and Aluminums tracks and a track or valance combination in steel, which is not bendable, is also accessible.

Uncorded and Corded curtain tracks

Uncorded curtain tracks have texture of nylon gliders which slot into the bottom of the track. You can yourself pull the curtains to open and close them. Corded tracks are threaded with nylon cord at the back which links to a system of gliders and pulleys. You open and close the curtains by using a pull-cord, without having to handle the curtain, caring more delicate fabrics from damage. Corded tracks are also helpful for heavy curtains and for tall windows, making drawing your curtains easier. Corded tracks are over 3m in length that will have cords at both ends rather than just one.
