With Christmas on the door individuals start planning to decorate their house. Christmas is the right time to decorate your house. You can do in many ways. One way is by cleaning your lawn.

Cleaning of lawn

We usually clean our house but neglect to clean lawn. As other parts of our house are important, same way lawns are equally important. This time do not forget to clean your lawn. Cleaning lawn is not a hard work. You can do it any time of the day. On this Christmas especially decorate your lawn for the night. A little clean up is a good way to get your winter lawn off to a fresh start.

Easy way to maintain lawn

If you find plenty of bare and brown spots in the lawn then it is ideal time to rid of those bare spots by reseeding or planting new grass to ensure a full and lush lawn. First of loosen the soil, removing all dead grass and all weeds. Plant grass properly and make sure they are even. Do not forget to water regularly in the morning. Use a rake with gentle bamboo or flexible metal tines to avoid digging up tender spring grass shoots. Removing debris like sticks and leaves will keep your lawn mower blade sharper longer and allow sunlight to penetrate the soil, warming it up for faster root growth. Use good quality of mower with sharp blade for cutting the grasses. Cut more then one third of the grass height at a time. Use good quality of fertilizers. Weeds are major causes that prevent the growth of grass. Use a shovel to remove the weeds.

Take this as an opportunity and do as part decoration that usually we do when Christmas is near. The holiday season really brings out the best in people.
