Candy Cane Christmas Decoration.

In this section, we will see how to decorate a candy cane during Christmas. Candy cane is just a hard cane-shaped candy stick. It is decorated with white and red stripes that are with flavored peppermint; but nowadays people design them other flavors and stripes too. The candy cane is a traditional thing; it has religious meaning in Christian, it means it brings ones mind about the Virgin Birth and the sinless life of Christ. Jesus Christ used it when he was shepherd to look after the sheep's. Peppermint candy sticks were developed in 19th or early 20th century. The candy cane is considered very important stuffs during the Christmas celebration, so it must decorated properly. We will see how to decorate this candy cane below.

Traditional meaning of candy cane decoration:

Traditionally, candy cane has three small red stripes and large stripes. The small stripes means the soldiers stripes and a larger stripe represents the blood shed by Christ. So, it makes people to take great interest in decorating it, they find it pious and respect work toward the God.

How to decorate a candy cane during Christmas?

Decorating a candy cane during a Christmas is considered holy, so people do it eagerly. There are various ways to do it. Nowadays people manipulate it more to look beautiful. We will see some steps to decorate candy cane.
Initially, you will need a cane with six inch long; two wiggle eyes, 2 pipe cleaners, ribbon, glue and red brown pompom. These are the basic things required for candy cane.

Then start cutting the ribbon into stripes that is one in large size and another in small size.

Then, do wrapping on candy cane by ribbon to form stripes. Use glue to paste the ribbon.

Thirdly, also glue eyes and pompom on cane and then wrap full pipe cleaner around the cane.
We can use cut pipe cleaner to decorate candy cane more.

Hence, this is the technique to decorate the candy cane; you can add something more to design it but these are the least requirement of the candy cane. So during Christmas people decorate this candy cane with great pomp and show and at the same time with great enthusiasm.
