Having different style shelves along the walls

nursery shelves. Select furniture and shelves that will convert to good use as the child grows from infancy to the toddler stage. Planning ahead now will really pay off in the future. As shelves are worth investing on for they help in storage and keep the room clean and tidy. Choose colours for the nursery that will coordinate with the colours of toys. Then the toys become decorative items themselves in the shelves. Expand storage space by building shelves and adding extra clothes rods for the closet. There are many simple do-it-yourself kits for making shelves.
Discover more space
One might feel that every space in the kid's room is filled and there is not an inch of space to put one more thing. But with a keen eye and dogged determination, one may discover space for just about anything. A closet is a space dedicated to storage. A big box really and put stuff on the shelves high above. One can arrange shelves any way that works for the person. Use it to the best advantage for everything that the child owns. If the child is small, put the things that they will get at themselves down low at eye level. If more hanging space is required then add more shelves, drawers and boxes to store things. By adding shelves 12" to 18" below the ceiling, all around the room or just on one wall, will offer lots of display space and storage area. The child can access it easily and without creating any mess while searching the particular toy.
Colourful shelves to decorate rooms
If some one is in need of things out of sight, put color-coordinated storage boxes on the shelves. Carefully mark each box with contents, using a label maker or press-on letters. Or collect baskets to hold things out of reach. To make them decorative, a spray paint can be used with a colour to coordinate with the room's decor or tie pretty wired bows on the outside of the box in the shelves.
